Aaloo Chole/Channa Chaat
Chickpeas 1 cup/200g (3-4 hours soaked)
Baking soda 1 tsp
Tamarind pulp ½ cup
Boiled potato 1 large (cubed)
Green chillies medium 2-3 (sliced)
Lemon juice 4 tbsp
Shan Channa Chaat Masala 3-4 tbsp
1. Get 6-8 glasses water in a pot and boil chickpeas on slow heat for 2-3 hours.
2. Then add baking soda and cook on slow heat for 1 hour to make chickpeas soft.
3. (There should be 2 cups broth left after chickpeas soft.)
4. Add green chillies, lemon juice, potato, tamarind pulp and shan channa chaat masala in chickpeas and serve hot.
