Ve Wong Soy Sauce, XO Grade is a tasty soy sauce with smooth, mellow, salty flavors. Traditionally Taiwanese soy sauce is made with native Taiwanese black soybeans, salt, water, and sugar and has a mellower, sweeter flavor. XO Soy sauce was developed in the 1980s in Hong Kong and is made of roughly-chopped dried seafood which is cooked with chili peppers, onions and garlic. The term XO refers to "Extra Old" and is often used to denote high quality, prestige and luxury.
